Eddisons announce first occupiers at Enterprise Business Park

Meridian Gymnastics and BSW have been announced as new occupiers at Enterprise Park, Peterborough.

Barnack Estates UK Ltd commenced construction of the 12 acre Park in January 2022. Since the launch strong interest has been registered with 3 plots and 12 out of the 26 speculative units now reserved, confirms Eddisons and Savills who are the joint sole agents under instruction.

Merdian Gymnastics are looking to double their current operation with a relocation from Eagle Business Park adjacent. BSW who are located on Station Bridge Business park and are also on Eagle are relocating their Eagle operation to a warehouse 40% larger to help with their expansion plans.

Rob Facer, Chairman, Barnack Estates UK Ltd, commented, “We are delighted to be in a position to announce the first names to move onto the Park and more names will be announced shortly. We are pleased to be able to offer industrial buildings at a time when a chronic shortage of stock has been recognised in the Peterborough area. This estate will help meet the employment and industrial growth in the area. “

Enterprise Park, which fronts on to Broadway, Yaxley comprised 12 acres of industrial development land. The site is being developed for occupation in late 2022 / early 2023. 26 industrial / warehouse units are currently being developed to purchase speculatively in size ranges from 1,870 to 7,660 sq ft. Units are either terraced, semi-detached or detached. 12 of the 26 units are reserved with 5 others currently in serious discussions. The remaining land is available for design and build. Meridian and BSW have been announced as occupiers. Three further plots are currently under negotiation.

Individual planning applications are being submitted for the design and build interest together with a second phase of speculative units which will be in the region of 1,225 to 2,080 sq ft.

Richard Jones, Director of Eddisons incorporating Barker Storey Matthews, commented, “With availability of vacant industrial space in Peterborough at only 135,000 sq ft – an all time low for the city – the level of interest is not surprising .”
