What is the Homes England grant framework?
The Homes England framework, also referred to as the Affordable Homes Programme, is a grant which provides funding to support costs of developing affordable housing for sale or to rent. In April 2021, Homes England set aside £7.39 billion of funding to deliver the target of 130,000 affordable homes as of March 2026.
What are the main objectives of the Homes England framework?
The framework has established the below set of statutory objectives according to the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008:
