About Kate
Kate is a director based in our Peterborough office. Kate has a strong track record advising private landowners, commercial developers, and public sector bodies on how to maximise the value of land and property through planning. Her experience spans major planning applications and appeals, Environmental Impact Assessments, Section 106 negotiations, and the discharge of conditions precedent. Prior to joining BTG Eddisons in 2020, Kate held associate-level roles at a national planning consultancy and a multi-disciplinary property and planning practice, advising clients across the eastern region on residential, commercial, and rural development. Earlier in her career she spent over 15 years at South Cambridgeshire District Council, progressing to Team Leader in Development Control, where she managed a team of seven planners and developed particular expertise in complex and non-standard planning negotiations. She is a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI).
