Adam Finch, Associate Director at Eddisons’ Newcastle office, has been shortlisted for the prestigious RICS Matrics Young Surveyor of the Year award.
Adam was initially nominated by a client for his stellar work and exceptional service levels, and his selection for the shortlist in the Building Surveying category comes off the back of a strong year for him and his colleagues, where a number of new commissions were secured.
The awards recognise and celebrate the most inspirational young surveying professionals in the UK. There are eight categories for the award, to denote the range of specialisms.
Judges will be looking for outstanding role models who work to the highest standards of professionalism and act as advocates for the profession.
Adam said: “I am absolutely delighted to be shortlisted by RICS and recognised by my fellow surveyors for my contribution towards the Building Surveying profession in the North East”.
“However, I am grateful for the advice, guidance and assistance from colleagues past and present who have assisted me over the past 10 years. I will attend the award ceremony hopeful of winning, but to be shortlisted by RICS and representing Eddisons at such a prestigious event is something I am extremely proud of.”
The winners of each of the eight categories will be announced at a black-tie dinner and awards ceremony in London on Friday 30th November, with the ultimate accolade of RICS Matrics Young Surveyor of the Year 2018 awarded to one of the category winners.
