Jenny, Gary and new recruit Nazar will be exhibiting at Government Property 24 on Thursday 8 February, hoping to learn more about how your businesses are doing as we approach the end of the financial year and how your sustainability goals are aligning with your corporate objectives.

One of our goals for 2024 is to help more public sector organisations access funding to improve their decarbonisation efforts. As part of our strategy, we have recently appointed Nazar Soofi as our Head of Sustainability and Decarbonisation.

Nazar has 25 years of experience of delivering huge projects across the globe, and more recently has won over £45million of Salix funding for the delivery of decarbonisation projects across West Yorkshire as part of his work with Leeds City Council.

He will be speaking at the QEII Centre event, helping companies realise their ambitions and go through the steps to achieve funding and delivery their energy-saving projects in line with the UK’s own Net Zero goals.

In our exclusive speaker session, Nazar will show how PSDS can be successfully delivered by breaking down the responsibilities of the clients, consultants, and contractors, underpinned by working together to achieve a shared goal of decarbonisation within the one-year funding deadline.

He will also highlight the challenges of the application process and the critical path activities, such as DNO, planning consent and onsite limitations. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the PSDS process, from application to final commissioning, alongside a knowledge of the pitfalls and opportunities you will face.
