Acting as an employer's agent and quantity surveyor for a Lincoln purpose-built student accommodation

Todson House is a purpose-built student accommodation asset in Lincoln. BTG Eddisons was appointed as employer's agent, quantity surveyor, and project manager for a new-build extension to the existing building. The works included enabling and demolition phases, along with elements of façade retention.

BTG Eddisons managed cost and contract across the full project. The team coordinated the enabling and demolition phases and the technical demands of façade retention, keeping the extension aligned with the existing accommodation. Cost control and project management ran from pre-contract through to completion.

The extension added student accommodation capacity while retaining part of the existing façade. Careful sequencing of the demolition and enabling works kept the project on track through a technically demanding build.
