The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work on projects mainly in the education sector with some work in other sectors, together with working alongside the wider architectural / project team to deliver the design and construction process.
Role and Requirements
- Develop and produce detailed architectural plans and specifications
- Create comprehensive tender packages for projects
- Work both independently / collaboratively on projects from RIBA stages 1-6
- Attend and chair stakeholder / site / contractor meetings
- Liaising with clients, statutory bodies and contractors
- Assist Building Surveying department with tender packages
- Preparation and submission of Planning & Building Regulation applications
Experience
- Candidates must have stage 5 experience and confidence to be able to solve on-site technical queries
- Previous experience within (at least two of) the following sectors: Education, Commercial, Industrial, and Healthcare
- Good strong technical knowledge of construction methods and comprehensive knowledge of UK Planning & Building Regulations
- Confident verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent team working skills and a positive, pro-active attitude
- Great organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient with AutoCAD / Revit
- Desirable – Producing 3D visualisations
- Desirable – NBS specification writing
- A full, clean, UK driving licence
