Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Measured Building Surveyor, for our Leeds based team. We work across a varied portfolio of real estate, but this role will have a focus on the Education Sector. Role and Requirements
- Carry out measured building surveys using Leica BLK 360 3D Laser Scanner and traditional methods where required throughout the UK
- Manage own workload and deliver to the programme
- Produce Point cloud Data from scans
- Produce 2D / 3D building plans, elevations, sections, 3D models and Visuals
- Use AutoCAD & Revit
- Liaise with building owners to gain access prior to site visits
- Regular liaison with the Director and Senior Surveyors
Experience
- Experience in measured building surveys
- 3D Scanning experience preferred but not essential – full training will be given
- Minimum HNC or equivalent in a construction related discipline
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit essential
- Basic understanding of building construction
- Experience in the handling of point cloud data and capturing on site information to generate 2D drawings & 3D models
- Flexibility to travel is a must and overnight stays will be required from time to time if carrying out surveys further afield
- UK Driving Licence and own car is essential
