Leeds adds senior quantity surveyor to enhance service line

Mollie Sims has joined BTG Eddisons as a senior quantity surveyor, based in the firm's Leeds building and property consultancy team, adding experience to its quantity surveying capability, which the firm is growing within its wider building consultancy service line.

Background and previous roles

Previous experience includes driving the Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) for the refurbishment of office and communal spaces at Bridgewater Place in Leeds, overseeing intrusive surveys, strip-out and enabling works to reduce project risk and maintain momentum towards the main construction phase. She also played a key role in managing the pre-contract and Gateway 2 process for a new 578-apartment build-to-rent (BTR) development at Lisbon Street, Leeds.

Mollie’s portfolio includes a series of projects for Yorkshire Cancer Research, transforming existing premises into rehabilitation, studio, café and retail facilities;, the refurbishment, remodelling and rooftop extension of several Grade II listed buildings to create new residential apartments; and leading project management services for the Great Yorkshire Build at Hilltop School.

Mollie says: “From starting out as a trainee to working on prestigious projects like Bridgewater Place, I have been fortunate to gain experience across a range of sectors. I am looking forward to bringing that experience into this new role and supporting both new and existing clients with their projects.”
