Project
St Paul’s Square is an office-led, mixed use scheme of 350,000 sq ft. It sits in the heart of Liverpool City Centre’s commercial district. English Cities Fund (ECF) developed it.
The scheme includes three Grade A office buildings and a 400 space multi-storey car park. It also has 50 residential apartments and new public realm. ECF instructed Ian Steele to advise on the project.
Approach
Ian provided site acquisition, planning, master planning, development, leasing and marketing advice. He worked with ECF from the start of the scheme.
The first phase set the tone. It included a 131,000 sq ft pre-let to law firm Hill Dickinson, the multi-storey car park and the residential block. It also delivered a landscaped public square.
Results
St Paul’s Square has become a sought-after office location in Liverpool. Occupiers include Hill Dickinson, DWF, Santander, Marsh, Mann Group, Direct Line and Hapag Lloyd.
The mix of offices, homes and public space gives the commercial district a new focal point.
