The Harrogate Business Centre has been providing serviced offices to a wide variety of businesses in Harrogate for over 30 years. The business centre featured 46 offices and 2 workshops with a lettable floor area totalling 11,472 sq ft. Eddisons were instructed to seek offers in excess of £1.65 million, exclusive, in respect of our client’s freehold/long leasehold interest.
Approach
Eddisons set out to market the business centre highlighting the strengths. The business centre was producing a steady rent roll per annum from a good number of tenants and there were opportunities to increase income with additional services and proactive management.
Results
Eddisons successfully secured the sale of the business centre in a timely manner and attracted significant interest when it was taken to market with a huge number of companies expressing interest.
The business attracted significant interest when it was presented to market with more than 50 parties expressing serious interest. This resulted in a total of 10 meaningful meetings and ultimately 5 companies making offers, all of which were in the right range.
