Ibrahim Beg

Ibrahim Beg joined Eddisons in 2024 as an Associate Director in our London Valuations team where he carries out RICS ‘Red Book’ valuation reports mainly on behalf of lenders in and around London and the Home Counties.

Ibrahim started his career at Basildon Borough Council managing the Council’s entire commercial portfolio but switched over to valuations following a move to Kemsley LLP. Whilst at Kemsley LLP, Ibrahim became a chartered surveyor specialising in the Commercial Property Pathway and having taken Valuation to level 3 meaning he is also an RICS Registered Valuer. Ibrahim then briefly worked at Alexander Lawson Surveyors based in Mayfair assisting their Valuation team, before subsequently moving to Glenny LLP’s head office in Stratford as a Senior Surveyor in their Valuation department for 3 years.

In December 2020, Ibrahim was headhunted by Cavendish Maxwell in the United Arab Emirates to lead their Valuation team in Abu Dhabi as an Associate Director, a role which he thrived in but was unfortunately cut short in January 2022 due to personal circumstances in London. Upon returning to London, Ibrahim successfully opened and managed his own firm of chartered surveyors based in east London known as ‘Central Chartered Surveyors’ where Ibrahim and his team mainly carried out Valuation, Lease Advisory and Agency work on behalf of private and retained clients.

More recently in October 2023 Ibrahim was headhunted once again for a Director role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to transform a Valuation team of a medium-sized local firm, bringing it more in line with international standards. Following the successful implementation of the changes required to transform the team which resulted in improved efficiency and overall standard of service, Ibrahim finally decided to move back to London in the summer of 2024 where he was delighted to join Eddisons.

Ibrahim specialises in Valuations for Secured Lending, Tax, Accounts, Capital Gains, Development, Pension and Probate within the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates of both Commercial and Residential properties. He also has Lease Advisory, Management and Agency experience.

As well as being a chartered surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, Ibrahim is also an RICS Counsellor and has assisted graduates in the past with becoming Associate and ‘full’ Members of the RICS. Ibrahim is also a former member of the London Institute of Banking and Finance.

Ibrahim enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and is an Arsenal supporter.
