Pair of Peterborough deals set the industrial tone this summer

Peterborough’s industrial property market continues to provide the backdrop to Eddisons’ agency deals in the city this summer, with confirmation this month of a letting and a sale in the sector.

To the east of the city centre, in the industrial area of Edgerley Drain Road, 10 Sabre Way has been let to Alltrade BP Ltd, a trade-only wholesaler of home automation and security products and services. Eddisons was acting on behalf of a private pension fund client in the letting of this 3,486 sq. ft. unit on the fenced and gated site.

In the Orton Southgate employment district of Peterborough, acting for a private owner, Eddisons has sold a 3,050 sq. ft. industrial unit, 14 Stapledon Road, to a private investor for a price confirmed in the region of £325,000.

In announcing this latest pair of Peterborough deals, Julian Welch, who led the agency on the Orton Southgate unit, commented: “This summer is seeing a number of deals in the Peterborough region moving forward.
