"An established business location in the town"

The go-ahead has been given for the next phase of Airfield Business Park in Market Harborough and Eddisons, incorporating Budworth Hardcastle, is pleased to continue its agency association with this Leicestershire business location, alongside APB as joint property agents, as the newest development phase takes off and first occupiers are confirmed.

Airfield Business Park has developed alongside the Harborough Innovation Centre, on Harrison Road, on the north side of the Leicestershire market town.

There was very strong demand for the first phase of units developed by Leicestershire County Council, with all 12 units being let very quickly following completion in 2019, according to Amanda Lawrence, of Eddisons, who has acted as an agent under instruction on units at the Park for a number of years.

The latest phase to be approved will see a total of 11 industrial/warehouse units to let, ranging in size from 1,500 sq ft to 67,000 sq ft, to let and 2 drive-thru units of 1,800 sq ft to 2,300 sq ft.

The agents confirm that the largest, 67,000 sq ft, unit is set to be leased to Bramble Foods, who already employ more than 150 people in Market Harborough. It currently leases a unit on Airfield Business Park and will be taking the additional new unit to further expand their growing business.

In addition, a further 12,500 sq ft unit has also been reserved. Plus, Costa Coffee has reserved one of the drive-thru units, leaving only the 2,300 sq ft unit available.

Commenting on the approval of the latest phase on Airfield Business Park, Amanda Lawrence said, “It’s a privilege to continue the agency association with the development.

“It’s now an established business location in the town and the surrounding area. Professionally, it’s been very rewarding to act under instruction from its earliest days through to this, its final phase.

“We are delighted to have secured early tenant interest already and we anticipate many more enquiries from prospective occupiers as we now move forward with the development having secured formal approval.”
