Liverpool property agency team is strengthened by Steele appointment

Ian Steele has joined BTG Eddisons as a director in its Liverpool property agency team, working alongside directors Robert Diggle and David Baker on office agency and development instructions across the city and the wider North West.

Steele joins after seven years as a Principal at Avison Young's Liverpool office, having previously held the role of Senior Director at GVA. He has spent over 30 years working in the North West office market and has advised on a number of high-profile schemes in both Liverpool and Manchester.

Background and previous roles

Steele is well known in the Liverpool market, with an extensive network built up over three decades, particularly in the offices sector. His background spans office-led development, office agency, and occupier consultancy, and he is expected to play a role in strengthening BTG Eddisons' development and refurbishment pipeline in the city as well as its wider agency offering.

The North West agency focus

The appointment sits within a broader push to build out BTG Eddisons' agency presence across the north. The firm already runs property agency teams in Sheffield and Bradford, and is separately strengthening its Manchester operation, with associate director Paul Parker moving across from the BTG Eddisons auctions team.
