The Cambridge office of Eddisons is urging new occupiers to get on board for 2024 in business premises within the former railway station in the South Cambridgeshire village of Linton.

Confirming that the letting of the largest of a trio of former railway buildings, Station Works at 8,631 sq ft (802 sq m), has already completed, the agent is instructed on the two remaining buildings known, collectively, as the Old Station.

Available to let on new leases, either individually or collectively, the main building – formed of the former ticket office and the station master’s accommodation – is 1,710 sq ft (158.9 sq m), and the companion building, the Waiting Room, is 342 sq ft (31.78 sq m).

The Old Station buildings date from the 19th Century but have been newly renovated & adapted for 21st Century, modern office use.

The Main Building has a number of rooms of various sizes and kitchen and WC facilities.

The Waiting Room sits on the ‘southbound platform’, overlooking a sunken garden created in the old railway track bed. It has two open plan office rooms, kitchen, WC & store cupboard.

With large windows and double doors opening on the old platform, the agent suggests it could make a statement boardroom, complementing the office use by the occupier of the main station building.

The Old Station complex is set in landscaped grounds and has plenty of parking on site. It is at the west side of Linton and has direct access from the A1307 between Cambridge & Haverhill. The A11/M11/Stansted link is just three miles away.

Once part of an extensive network of village railway stations in South Cambridgeshire, Linton’s Old Station is less than five miles from two operational railway stations on the Cambridge to London Liverpool Street line at Great Chesterford and Whittlesford.

The village of Linton has a number of amenities including a convenience store, pubs and café.

Viewing of either of the Old Station properties to let is strictly by appointment through Eddisons in Cambridge as the sole agent.
