Eddisons swiftly turns Lincs warehouse investment acquisition to occupied premises

Eddisons provided pre-acquisition advice to an investor client on vacant 15,300 sq ft warehouse/showroom premises at Scotgate House, Whitley Way, Market Deeping, Lincolnshire and within four weeks of the acquisition, Eddisons’ Peterborough agency team had secured a new tenant for the building.

The building is on a 0.9 acre site and occupies a prominent corner plot within the market town’s popular Northfields Industrial Estate. The new occupier is a UK-leading supplier of garden and outdoor furniture brands.

The swift letting shows the desirability and strength of the location where there are not only local and regional operators but also international businesses such as Indra Park Air and Press Glass, as well as UK companies such as Wilcox Commercial Vehicles and Lux Technical.

The instruction was led for Eddisons by Julian Welch and Gavin Hynes. Both agree that timing was crucial in meeting the specific requirements of the client and the tenant.

These two latest deals follow the recent letting of 3 Chater Court at Northfields Industrial Estate, Market Deeping where Eddisons acted on behalf of the landlord.
