Eddisons has recently exchanged contracts on the acquisition of the freehold interest at 155 Humberstone Lane, Thurmaston, Leicester. A substantial 10.573-acre industrial site is impressive alone but being strategically positioned within one of Leicester’s most established industrial locations created a perfect marketing opportunity.
Acting on behalf of a local family-owned manufacturing business, the acquisition marks a major step in the company’s continued growth and operational consolidation across the region.
The client’s objective was to identify and secure a property capable of housing their expanding operations under one roof, thereby improving logistical efficiency and supporting future development potential.
Approach
Our Commercial Agency team undertook a detailed site search and feasibility analysis across the Leicester area, prioritising connectivity, infrastructure and long-term adaptability. The site at Humberstone Lane offered significant advantages, including proximity to key transport routes such as the A607 and A46, and the availability of large-scale industrial accommodation suitable for flexible manufacturing, storage and distribution.
