Project
BTG Eddisons acted on behalf of a longstanding private investor client in the acquisition of Jacks Hill Café and Truck Stop at Watling Street, Towcester. The prominent A5 roadside site extends to 1.74 acres and includes an extensive parking area previously used as a lorry park for up to 50 units and trailers. The property was secured for an undisclosed sum in a competitive bidding situation.
Approach
The instruction was led by Eamon Kennedy, Executive Partner and Head of Industrial and Logistics. Securing the site in a competitive process required both market knowledge and the ability to act quickly and decisively on behalf of the client. Following a successful acquisition, BTG Eddisons was appointed to market the property on a leasehold basis, leveraging our agency expertise to identify suitable occupiers across a range of potential uses.
Results
Our client secured a well-located, multi-purpose roadside asset in a competitive market. BTG Eddisons' involvement across both the acquisition and subsequent leasehold marketing demonstrates the value of a team that can support clients through the full transaction cycle, from identifying and securing the right opportunity to maximising its potential once in ownership.
