Rory Addison Smith

Rory joined Eddisons in 2018 as a Director following the acquisition of Barker Storey Matthews. Rory is now a Regional Director responsible for the East and Midlands geographic locations, and is largely based in our Peterborough office and part of the Building Surveying and Project Consultancy team. Rory has experience and advises clients on most aspects of the Building Surveying and Project services offered, and has worked with many commercial entities along with other clients working in areas such as retail, healthcare, education and the public sector.

Rory works with institutions, asset managers, funds, property companies, occupiers, and high net worth individuals on their property portfolios advising on how to manage as well as deliver and maximise the value of their property through well-planned advice at each point of a property’s life cycle, whether that be during their ownership or indeed at acquisition or disposal stages.

In practice, Rory and his team offer the full suite of traditional building surveying/architectural services (such as space planning/planning drawings, schedules of condition, dilapidations, contract administration, project management, building surveys etc.), and also specialise in design and specification on various types of commercial buildings including historic buildings in terms of their construction, refurbishment, reinstatement and/or repair. Essentially, anything to do with the physical characteristics of commercial property or associated projects, whether that be existing or new build, we are able to assist you with.
