James Straw

James is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and Director in the East Midlands Valuation team at Eddisons, joining in 2024. James has over 10 years’ experience providing a mix of public and private sector work, including extensive valuation of public sector assets including unique properties that require a number of different valuation approaches, for example student property investments or education facilities.

A chartered valuation surveyor possessing a well-rounded level of experience offering a number of valuation services including bank loan security, pension funds, company accounts and taxation across retail, office, industrial and residential together with commercial and residential development sites. James also provides other professional and consultancy advice in relation to Landlord & Tenant matters, potential acquisitions, planning obligations, viability assessments and development. James has extensive experience across the East Midlands region.
