About Daniel

Daniel Garfoot BSc (Hons) MRICS is a Director and a Quantity Surveyor in the Building and Project Consultancy team based in Lincoln. After graduating from Sheffield Hallam University, Daniel worked in Sheffield for various top tier surveying firms as a private practice quantity surveyor before moving to Lincolnshire and working for Gardiner & Theobald LLP for 15 years. Daniel joined Banks Long & Co (now Eddisons) in 2018 and has been based in Lincolnshire for the last 20 years.

Daniel is a chartered quantity surveyor who provides the full range of quantity surveying, project management and employer's agent services in a number of sectors including education, health, commercial, industrial and blue light.

Daniel’s notable projects include acting as employer’s agent on the Building Schools for the Future programme with North Lincs Council, delivering eight new schools; Oasis Academies Immingham and Wintringham; Humber University Technical College (UTC) in Scunthorpe; and the construction of a new cinema in Gainsborough. He has also worked as quantity surveyor on the Whitby Abbey Visitors Centre redevelopment for English Heritage, the Air and Space Institute (ASI) for Lincoln College Group, and the International Bomber Command Memorial and Interpretation Centre in Lincoln.
