Chris Morvan

Chris is a Director of Building Safety & Remediation based in our Leeds office. He is a Registered NEC 4 Project Manager with ten years' project management experience, specialising in building safety, cladding remediation and fire-safety programmes. His work spans the commercial and technical sides of remediation — from scope definition and procurement through to cost management, funding support and compliance — helping clients turn regulatory obligations into deliverable, well-governed projects.

He has led the development of a dedicated cladding remediation offer, delivering project management, cost management, employer's agent and compliance inspector services on Cladding Safety Scheme and Developer Pays projects in accordance with PAS 9980. He has advised registered providers, developers, freeholders, managing agents and lenders across residential and mixed-use property, and has prepared building safety cases and reports for dutyholders under the Building Safety Act 2022. Notable work includes project management for a residential development supporting assisted living for Autism West Midlands.

Prior to joining BTG in 2026, Chris held senior project management roles across specialist remediation and project management consultancy, delivering defence, housing and cladding remediation schemes across Yorkshire and the Midlands. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Construction Management, and is a Registered NEC 4 Project Manager, PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM Practitioner, Management of Risk Practitioner (MoR), Associate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (AMICE), and a Member of the Institute of Explosive Engineers (MIExpE).
