Ashley Parkinson

Ashley is a Regional Director based in our Manchester office, where he leads the North West building surveying team. He is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 13 years’ experience, specialising in contract administration and project management, pre-acquisition surveys, dilapidations, and technical due diligence. He also advises on condition surveys and schedules of condition, design and specification, party wall matters and reinstatement cost assessments.

He has advised clients across education, retail, offices, public sector, industrial, residential, hotels and leisure, giving him a broad understanding of how different property types perform and where the risks sit. Ashley works with owners, occupiers and investors at every stage of a property’s life, from acquisition and refurbishment through to lease events and exit. He has also been responsible for monitoring projects on clients’ behalf and giving them clear, practical advice on cost, condition and compliance.

Prior to joining BTG Eddisons in 2019, Ashley worked as a Chartered Building Surveyor at a national property consultancy and at an international property and construction consultancy in Manchester. He began his career with a housing association in the North West. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from Northumbria University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
