Workshop premises let on industrial estate near Sandy

The latest industrial letting confirmed by the Huntingdon agency of BTG Eddisons in this third quarter of the year is on workshop/small warehouse premises of 3,148 sq ft on an industrial estate, near Sandy, Bedfordshire.

The new occupier of Unit 4 on the Hardwick Industrial Estate, on the edge of the village of Great Gransden, operates in the food production sector although its exact identity is not disclosed by the agency.

Hardwick Industrial Estate is a small, established village-edge scheme two miles from the A1198 between Huntingdon and Royston and a similar distance from the A428 linking St Neots and Cambridge.

The deal was led by Matthew Hunt of BTG Eddisons on behalf of the landlord. Announcing the successful letting, he said, “Hardwick Industrial Estate is typical of the type of scheme that pepper semi-rural locations in this part of the country in having good connectivity to road transport links across the wider region and beyond to the national road network.

“Such schemes tend to attract SME businesses involved in a range of light industrial uses such as food tech and production, small scale engineering or manufacturing requirements.”
