Property consultancy BTG Eddisons, part of financial and real estate advisory group BTG, has appointed Silvia Bonanni as a director in its fast-growing valuations team, where she will focus on healthcare advisory work as the firm continues to expand its specialist offering.

Based in the firm’s London office, Silvia brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial and specialist valuations across a broad range of asset types. Her background includes work on healthcare-related properties, such as elderly care homes, specialist care facilities and SEND schools, for secured lending, financial reporting and transactional purposes across the UK.

Silvia joins BTG Eddisons from Colliers, having previously held senior roles at JLL, Savills and Carter Jonas. She has worked with private and public sector clients across healthcare, education, student housing and wider commercial property sectors. She is a chartered surveyor (MRICS) and an RICS-registered valuer.

Joining the more than 100-strong BTG Eddisons valuations team, Silvia will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of its healthcare advisory services, responding to increasing demand for specialist valuation expertise in the sector.

This latest appointment follows a series of strategic hires across BTG Eddisons as the firm continues to expand its national valuations capability.

David Hayton, valuations director at BTG Eddisons, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome Silvia to the team. She brings strong experience across a range of sectors, including healthcare, which is an increasingly important sector for our clients.”

“Her experience across healthcare assets will support our ability to provide high-quality, insight-led advice. Silvia’s appointment reflects both the growth of our valuations team and our commitment to investing in specialist expertise.”

Silvia Bonanni, director at BTG Eddisons, said: “BTG Eddisons has a strong reputation for delivering clear, commercially focused advice, and I’m delighted to be joining the team at such an exciting time in its growth.

“The healthcare sector continues to evolve rapidly, and there is a real need for specialist valuation expertise to support lenders, operators and investors. I’m looking forward to working with colleagues across the business to further develop the firm’s healthcare offering and support clients across the UK.”
