Search for space sees move for CITB HQ in Peterborough

The national headquarters of the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) is set to relocate within Peterborough, in a move which will give the government agency bigger premises from which to deliver its services to members and industry professionals across the country.

CITB will move from its city centre offices in Sand Martin House, Bittern Way to 4 Cyrus Way, Cygnet Park, Hampton, on the city’s outskirts. Eddisons acted on behalf of the landlord to secure CITB as the new tenant of the detached, 11,045 sq ft, two-storey property.

Julian Welch, the Peterborough director who led the firm’s agency in the letting to CITB, added, “Hampton is a high-quality location for office occupiers from a range of professional sectors. Our client is very pleased to have agreed terms with such an established organisation as the CITB.

“And, as an agency with a solid track record in Peterborough, it’s rewarding for Eddisons to see the city retaining its attraction as a base for a national headquarters.”
