The engagement of BTG Eddisons’ building consultancy services has provided a new lease of life for two adjoining industrial units and played a vital part in securing new tenant interest in the properties.
That’s the view of BTG Eddisons’ agency in Huntingdon who were instructed to let the two light industrial/workshop units at 15 and 17 on Burrel Road within the Somersham Road Industrial Estate in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
In the initial agency advice to the owner, both units presented as ‘tired’ through the lens of potential occupiers seeking available stock in the market. Through other service lines of BTG Eddisons, the firm was able to provide a comprehensive refurbishment with the Huntingdon agency re-letting the units once the programme of works had started.
The pair of units - total approximately 6,517 sq ft - have now been let to two separate entities.
