An office letting on Peterborough’s Thorpe Road has bucked the trend of the traditionally slow summer market in that sector when it became under offer just a fortnight after Eddisons’ agency in the city was instructed to let it.
The deal has now been completed on the self-contained, first floor, 723 sq ft office space of Unit B Greenhill House - a two storey, purpose built office building, close to the interchange with the A47 and Nene Parkway.
The new tenant is a local independent financial adviser whose business had grown and required premises to accommodate the expansion.
Commenting on the letting, Eddisons’ Julian Welch - who led the agency instruction on behalf of the landlord - said, “The Peterborough office market has been notably quiet for most of the year and that’s, more or less, the pattern across the country.
“Summertime, by convention, is always a quiet time for office market moves, in particular. Therefore, the speed at which interest was generated in this office instruction and then the deal proceeded to completion is particularly gratifying.”
