A UK-based manufacturer and supplier of pump technologies to industries in the chemical, pharmaceutical and gas sectors is relocating to a new location in St Neots, Cambridgeshire this summer following its purchase of a warehouse site and premises in a deal in which BTG Eddisons acted on behalf of the seller.
March May has acquired new premises of, approximately, 17,500 sq ft on a 1.95 acre site at 4B Marston Road, on the town’s established Cromwell Road Estate, for an undisclosed sum after the premises were marketed as available to let or for sale through BTG Eddisons.
The relocation will see March May operational from 4B Marston Road in July, once fit out works have completed, in relocating from the firm’s former premises at Howard Road in the Eaton Socon commercial district of St Neots.
BTG Eddisons was retained by March May as the letting agent on its former premises, which became under offer swiftly confirms Matthew Hunt of the agent’s Huntingdon office.
He added, “St Neots remains a popular location for industrial occupiers, given its inherent - and much improving - road transport links to key areas of economic growth in and around the South East and Eastern regions and onward connectivity to the Midlands.
“Commercial premises in this part of Cambridgeshire, which borders the Home Counties, continue to attract owner-occupiers and investors to such freehold opportunities when they come forward for sale.”
