Off market deal secures new tenant in St Neots industrial location

Our Huntingdon office has confirmed the letting of a 4,150 sq ft industrial workshop in the Eaton Socon district of St Neots, Cambridgeshire, in an off-market deal following the business closure of the previous tenant.

The new occupier at 9 Chester Road on Colmworth Business Park, Vactec UK, is a nationwide suction excavation service providing safe and effective alternatives to traditional digging techniques. The immediate past use of the workshop unit was as a vehicle repair garage.

According to associate director Matthew Hunt, who led the agency negotiations on behalf of the landlord, the off-market deal ensured time and cost savings for the agency’s client, as well as a lack of void period between occupiers.

He added, “The nature of the premises suited the new occupier’s depot needs. St Neots remains a popular location for businesses who are looking for premises in which to not only accommodate their current requirements, but also address their plans for future commercial growth.”
