The latest letting of a unit at the Great North Business Park in Biggleswade has seen Eddisons ‘do the math’ in pointing to the Park’s popularity since it was first developed as a brand-new business location in 2019, when Eddisons began acting as the sole agent.
The newest tenant - a company operating within the automated & precision manufacturing sectors - has taken a lease on a 2,280 sq ft business unit at the gated Axus Close scheme within the Great North Business Park.
This adds to Eddisons’ tally at the Park, which has seen the agent sell or let all of the 46 units, totalling 200,000 sq ft, approximately, as units on each phase have become available.
According to Stephen Power at Eddisons’ Huntingdon office, which leads the agency at the Great North Business Park, the Park’s location plays a pivotal role in attracting occupiers as units become available.
He said, “Its proximity to the A1, historically known as ‘The Great North Road’, and employment catchment areas in Stevenage, Bedford, Letchworth and beyond to Cambridge and Milton Keynes in opposing directions, guarantees the popularity of units at Great North Business Park.
“An absence of new-build schemes of any volume in the area in the past 20 years also means we continue to receive ongoing enquiries about availability from businesses who seek the kind of connectivity and high quality business units that the Great North Business Park offers.”
