A new recruit to Eddisons’ valuations department in Lincoln sees the property firm look to the future in serving clients across its East Midlands & East region.
With a first degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Sheffield, Spencer Cromwell has returned to Lincoln - where he grew up - to take up the post at Eddisons as an Apprentice Valuation Surveyor.
Spencer will combine working in the valuations department with part-time study to complete a Masters degree in Real Estate ahead of working towards his chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
The scope of the work in the valuation department will see Spencer involved as part of the team in providing a range of advisory services, on both residential and commercial property assets, to public, private and institutional clients.
Announcing the appointment, James Straw, Director, said, “There is a shrinking demographic from which to recruit and retain the next generation of property professionals who have the talent to make it to senior positions and sustain a premium service for our clients.
“It’s important to Eddisons that we identify and nurture that talent by supporting their professional studies and encouraging them as their career progresses.”
