Investment interest in parade of Peterborough properties for sale by auction this autumn

October sees the investment interest in a parade of properties in Peterborough’s historic city centre for sale with a guide price of £2 million to £2.2 million, advises BTG Eddisons who are a joint auctioneer, with Allsop, on behalf of the vendor.

The properties - 15-27 Cowgate, 15-17 King Street and Britannic House - form one substantial lot for auction and represent an unbroken freehold investment legacy that stretches back a number of years for the present.

BTG Eddisons’ agents in Peterborough have a long commercial association with the properties in the mixed-use parade where they have acted in roles as managing agent and letting agent over the past 15 years.

At 27,045 sq ft, the total commercial accommodation is 90 percent let by floorspace with a number of the occupiers having renewed agreements this year (2026). The gross income yield across all the properties stands at 12.34 per cent based upon the guide price for the auction entry.

There is now just under 2,400 sq ft of vacant office space left in the parade of properties where there are four shops, two restaurants, a dessert parlour and a bar as well as a fitness/leisure studio alongside the office occupiers.
