BTG Eddisons has confirmed that with the letting of a 1,690 sq ft unit at North Kesteven District Council’s Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park, Lincolnshire all of the light industrial units on this first phase of the park’s development are now fully let.
Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park is a brand new, long term, 37-acre strategic employment site adjacent to the A17, to the north of Sleaford.
This first phase of 15 units, across plots one and three and on which BTG Eddisons was under instruction as the sole agent, sees a mix of light industrial operators with local and national profiles across a range of diverse sectors including utilities, building contracting and pet food manufacturers.
Development at Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park began in 2021 and with the letting of this final unit, all the available space of 41,469 sq ft so far is now let.
High quality, premium business space, a landscaped setting focusing on employee wellbeing and the convenience of location have been key factors in attracting operators to Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park in its first phases of development, according to BTG Eddisons who have been the active agent on the park from the outset.
William Nuttall of BTG Eddisons, who led the agency negotiations in the latest deal, said, “The park sits well as a modern extension to the already established commercial industrial area in north east of Sleaford, on the crucial A17 which is an important East-West link connecting the A1 with the East Coast ports.
“The emphasis on the quality of the units, in terms of form and function when it comes to operational and running costs, as well as the wider setting of the Park, has resulted in attracting a range of occupiers in the first phases who are now all part of the pioneering story in looking forward to the next phase of development.”

North Kesteven District Council Leader Councillor Richard Wright said,“We are incredibly proud that our Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park is fully let so far and has become the thriving place for business, growth and innovation that we knew it had the potential to be.
“The aim of purchasing the site and creating a high-quality business park was to unlock growth and bring new jobs to Sleaford, as well as showcase the District as a great place to work and do business in, and it’s clearly achieving that already through this first phase of 15 fully let units.
“It also shows the importance of building better. We’ve provided units that are high-quality and flexible spaces, which are well-designed to meet business needs as well as being futureproofed with energy conscious features such as solar panels and EV charging points, and all sitting within an attractive business park space.”
Clean Planet Energy, part of the Clean Planet Group, is a UK-based clean-tech company which builds ecoPlants that convert hard-to-recycle plastics into circular products for use again in industry. Last year, it identified the second phase of North Kesteven District Council’s Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park, off Pride Parkway in Sleaford as the ideal site to build its second Clean Planet Energy ecoPlant so far in the UK.
If successful in securing planning permission for an ecoPlant in this location, Clean Planet Energy is estimated to bring 50-70 direct new green jobs to the local area while reducing the amount of waste plastic in the UK which is either incinerated or taken to landfill, or might end up polluting our environment.
Plots four and five of Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park are still planned to be developed in future.
