Early autumn investment sales confirmed

BTG Eddisons has confirmed the sale of two contrasting Peterborough properties to investors in transactions in which it advised and acted for the sellers.

At 2 Cumbergate in the heart of the city centre, where men’s fashion outfitters Niro is the tenant, investment interest in the retail premises totalling 1,800 sq ft has been sold for just under £375,000 to a London-based property company.

Over at Thorpe Wood Business Park, on the outskirts of the city, which is one of the main office/business park locations in Peterborough, Asset House - a 4,287 sq ft office building in which there are 15 individual office suites with a number currently let on all-inclusive licence arrangements - has been sold for £630,000 to a private investor.

According to BTG Eddisons, the prices achieved by its Peterborough agency in both transactions are robust in reflecting the changing nature of the retail and office market sectors not only in the city but regionally too.
