BTG Eddisons valuations team becomes region’s largest with latest senior appointment

Property consultancy BTG Eddisons has expanded its valuations team in Yorkshire and the North East with the appointment of a new director, making it the largest dedicated commercial valuations team in the region, with further appointments planned over the coming months.

The latest addition is chartered surveyor and registered valuer Josh Foy, who joins as a director in the firm's Leeds office, returning to BTG Eddisons more than a decade after completing his placement year with the business.

Josh brings more than 10 years' experience in commercial property valuations across Yorkshire and the North East. He joins from Carter Towler, where he had been associate director since 2022.

A specialist in commercial and residential Red Book valuations for secured lending, financial reporting, acquisitions and disposals, Josh began his career with a placement year at Eddisons while studying estate management at Northumbria University. He subsequently spent six years with Colliers before joining Carter Towler.

Josh's appointment takes BTG Eddisons' wider Yorkshire and North East valuations team to 14, including surveyors, graduates and specialist administrative support staff. Alongside the Leeds office, the team includes two valuers based in the North East and three in Sheffield, providing valuation expertise across the region.
