This month, public sector organisations can appoint BTG Eddisons through Lots 1 and 2 of the Crown Commercial Service RM6343 Estate Management 2 Framework, covering total estate management and day-to-day property management. No full procurement exercise required. Here is what that means for your estate.

Expert estate management, compliantly and quickly

Managing a public sector estate is demanding work. The pressure to maintain buildings to a high standard, demonstrate value for money, and plan effectively for the future rarely lets up. Finding the right professional support quickly and compliantly then becomes another challenge on top of an already full workload.

This month, BTG Eddisons is available for appointment under Lots 1 and 2 of the CCS RM6343 Estate Management 2 Framework. For public sector organisations that need estate or property management support, this is a straightforward, compliant route to bringing in expert help – without the time and resource demands of a full procurement exercise.

What is the CCS RM6343 framework?

The Crown Commercial Service is an executive agency of the Cabinet Office that helps public sector organisations procure goods and services efficiently. The RM6343 Estate Management 2 Framework is a pre-approved agreement with vetted suppliers, running until November 2029. It is available to central government departments, local authorities, NHS trusts, blue light services, housing providers, educational institutions, and other public and third sector bodies.

Appointing through the framework is compliant, fast, and flexible, supporting both direct award and further competition routes depending on the value and nature of your requirement.

In May, BTG Eddisons can support you with Lots 1 and 2

Lot 1 – Total Estate Management

Covering the full lifecycle management of a public sector property or portfolio. If your organisation needs a capable partner to take a comprehensive, strategic view of your estate, from occupancy planning and technical assessments through to operational oversight, this is the lot for you.

Lot 2 – Estate (Property) Management

Focusing on the day-to-day running of government buildings. It covers technical and operational assessments, property oversight, and planning for maintenance, capital works, and asset management. If you need reliable, professional management of your buildings on an ongoing basis, Lot 2 is the relevant route.

What BTG Eddisons brings to your estate

We are a national firm of property advisers with more than 550 professionals across 35 UK offices. Our public sector clients include central government departments, local authorities, NHS organisations, blue light services, and housing providers, and we understand the pressures, governance requirements, and value-for-money expectations that come with managing public estate.

Through Lots 1 and 2 this month, we can support your organisation with day-to-day property management, including rent collection, service charge management, tenancy oversight, and FM coordination. We can provide building consultancy services too, including condition surveys, planned preventative maintenance programmes, and project management for refurbishment and capital works. And where your estate strategy includes net zero commitments, our decarbonisation team can help you develop a practical, costed pathway from where you are now to where you need to be.

We combine national reach with genuine local knowledge, which matters when the properties you are responsible for are spread across multiple regions and require advisers who understand the local market and built environment.

How to appoint BTG Eddisons in May

Our framework managers are available to talk through your requirements, explain the procurement options available to you, and help you identify the most appropriate route – whether that is direct award or further competition. There is no obligation, and the initial conversation is free.
