Project
As one of the top system leaders, the David Ross Trust focuses on “developing strong communities and providing students with outstanding opportunities that inspire and engage”.
However, several of their schools across Lincolnshire and beyond needed scheduled repairs including roof repairs and boiler replacements.
Approach
Over two consecutive summer holiday periods, Eddisons project managed and quantity surveyed the scheduled maintenance and repairs of 13 schools in 2019, and 6 schools in 2020, across the Lincolnshire region and beyond.
Eddisons prioritised the safety of the pupils at the David Ross Trust first and foremost, with staff working during allocated times and with suitable precautions and regulations in place.
A robust planning stage allowed for the two separate working periods to go ahead successfully without delay or disruption.
Results
Eddisons’ multi-disciplinary approach enabled the smooth delivery of scheduled works across all 19 sites, with clear communication and coordination between all stakeholders.
All projects were completed on time and to specification, allowing pupils to safely return for the start of the new academic year, with improved facilities and minimal disruption to teaching environments.
