Our long-term client, a private investor who has worked with our Lincoln Valuations team on various projects, required a valuation of a 24-unit portfolio of trade counters across the South and East of England. The valuation was needed for taxation purposes and demanded in-depth sector knowledge, a tight turnaround, and consistency across the client’s diverse collection.
Approach
We drew on our specialist knowledge of the trade counter market, alongside our experience in acquiring and disposing of similar assets across the UK. Working closely with colleagues in our Property Agency division, we combined localised insight with expertise to ensure every report reflected current market conditions. Collaboration across teams allowed us to build a detailed, market-focused valuation for each unit in the portfolio.
Results
We delivered a comprehensive suite of valuation reports, giving our client confidence in their taxation position and clarity on the portfolio’s performance. The total value reached close to £13.5 million. The project showcased the benefits of our multi-disciplinary approach and reinforced our client’s trust in our ability to deliver quality, market-driven advice.
