Working hours: Full time

About the role

You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative team delivering a wide range of professional and project‑based surveying services across commercial, industrial, education and public‑sector assets.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience across:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) surveys
  • Pre‑acquisition Building Surveys
  • Design and Contract Administration
  • Schedules of Condition
  • Schedules of Dilapidations
  • Reinstatement Cost Assessments

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting contract administration duties, including preparing specifications, tender documentation and attending site meetings
  • Assisting with building surveys and producing clear, accurate reports
  • Analysing building defects and contributing to technical advice
  • Supporting the preparation of dilapidations schedules and negotiations
  • Assisting with the supervision of works on site
  • Providing advice on maintenance, repair, refurbishment and construction matters
  • Undertaking building, condition and measured surveys

Skills, qualifications & attributes

  • 1–2 years of experience in Building Surveying
  • A degree in a RICS‑accredited Building Surveying or related discipline
  • Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
  • Strong interest in commercial property and the built environment
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to continue developing your technical skills
  • Ambition to progress toward MRICS through the APC
  • Confident communication skills and a professional approach with clients
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to produce accurate, high‑quality documentation
