What is the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Framework?

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is an executive agency of the Cabinet Office that helps public sector organisations procure goods and services efficiently.

CCS frameworks are pre-approved agreements with vetted suppliers, allowing government departments, local authorities, NHS trusts and educational institutions to appoint specialists without running full procurement exercises.
