About Matthew
Matt is a Director and Head of Agency, leading the commercial agency function across our national office network. With over 20 years' experience in commercial property, he specialises in disposals, acquisitions, development and investment work, covering all commercial property types across the South East region.
Matt has an extensive track record advising landlords, occupiers, and investors across Hertfordshire, with particular depth of knowledge in St Albans, Harpenden, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, and Potters Bar. His work spans the full spectrum of commercial agency from straightforward lettings and sales to more complex land, development, and investment transactions. He has been consistently recognised as one of the region's leading commercial agents, winning the Hertfordshire Dealmaker award four times.
Prior to joining BTG Eddisons in 2023, Matt spent over 18 years at a regional property consultancy in St Albans, progressing to Director level, and earlier in his career gained experience at a North London commercial property practice. He holds a BSc in Land and Estate Management from the University of Reading.
