Derek Bird

Derek is a Property Manager based in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire region. He brings over 25 years of experience in the serviced office sector, with particular strengths in client management, business development, and the day-to-day management of diverse commercial property portfolios.

Derek works with a multitude of clients across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, overseeing a broad range of properties on their behalf. His background in both operational management and client-facing brokerage gives him a well-rounded perspective, enabling him to understand both the provider and occupier sides of commercial property.

Prior to joining BTG in 2022, Derek spent five years with a leading serviced office provider, where he set up and managed new locations across the UK, Europe and East Asia. He then spent 20 years as a serviced office broker, working exclusively on behalf of occupier clients seeking flexible office solutions across the market.
