Our Building and Project Consultancy teams deal in all aspects of building and construction advice. They are experienced in undertaking all aspects of pre-acquisition due diligence, party wall matters, dilapidations, construction and build-out, repair, maintenance and refurbishment, project monitoring and providing advice in respect of CDM 2015. In all cases we act for landlords and tenants alike.

Valuations - Eddisons has a dedicated valuation department in each key office providing national coverage. Valuations are carried out for various purposes including secured lending, tax, accounts, pension fund assets, disposals and acquisitions for a broad range of clients, ranging from PLC’s, Pension Funds, Limited Companies, Universities and SME’s. Formal valuations under the RICS Red Book are provided, or more informal valuations depending upon the client’s requirements.

Rating – Our rating teams advise on and action appeals, as well as monitoring what changes in Government Legislation are taking place which can impact on the ratepayer, we also provide Business Rate Management & Payment, checking current and historic demands for accuracy and to check for example transitional relief has been correctly applied.

With an extensive retained client base which ranges from large property portfolios through to sole traders, we have considerable experience across all business sectors and property types including offices, shops, warehouses and factories. We also offer specialist experience in healthcare, education (universities, colleges and schools), nurseries, leisure (pubs, hotels and restaurants) and roadside properties (car showrooms, workshops, tyre depots). We also offer an innovative ‘no win no fee’ service (excluding tribunal hearings) with no upfront charges, a clear demonstration of our confidence in the field.
