Business Rates Appeal Deadline – 31 March 2015

Time is running out for appeals to be lodged against your business rates assessment.

Many businesses are still paying more Business Rates than they should. You may have been overcharged since April 2010 and the window of opportunity to reclaim over-payments for the last 5 years will close on 31 March 2015.

What This Means For You

Appeals lodged after the 31 March 2015 will be date limited, meaning that any reduction subsequently achieved will only be effective from the 1st April 2015.

This means that you will lose any refund that could be retrospectively refunded back to 1 April 2010 if you fail to appeal before 31 March 2015 – 5 years of rates refunds that you could potentially miss out on.

How We Can Help

Eddisons can advise if you have been over-charged and will act on your behalf throughout the appeal process. We have a very high success rate and only charge a small percentage of the refund amount.
