A letting at a well known Bradford industrial estate and the sale of a former Methodist Church are among the latest deals to be announced by the Bradford office of Chartered Surveyors Eddisons.
The unit on Fowler Street Industrial Estate on Wakefield Road has been let to Zouk Deli Ltd off an asking rent of £7,950 per annum.
The firm plans to use the 1,400 sq ft unit as a storage and distribution centre for its outside catering division, which supplies events and venues across the country, including Silverstone.
Meanwhile, existing tenant PPG Architectural Coatings UK Ltd has agreed to move to a more prominent location on the same site, which leaves just one unit still available.
The estate has become a major attraction for trade counter operators, with tenants including Yesss Electrical and Rexel Senate, a distributer of electrical supplies.
Steven Jones, Director at Eddisons said: ‘The estate enjoys a strong profile as a trade counter location given its proximity to the outer ring road, Bradford city centre and the motorway network, typified by established tenants like PPG.’
Elsewhere, the former Hawksbridge Baptist Church in Oxenhope is now under new ownership, having been sold off an asking price of £245,000.
The property on Moorside Lane occupies a site of approximately 0.39 acres and has been bought by a private individual who plans to convert it into one large residence. Eddisons concluded the sale on behalf of long standing client, Yorkshire Baptist Association.
Mr Jones said: ‘We are seeing strong interest in these types of properties from both developers and private individuals who appreciate the tremendous potential they offer for a range of alternative uses.’
