The Bradford office of Chartered Surveyors Eddisons has completed deals on over 43,000 sq ft of industrial space in Bradford.
DFS is the latest tenant to take space on the Pitcliffe Way Industrial Estate which it will use as a warehousing and distribution centre for its Bradford and Huddersfield stores.
The furniture retailer has signed a 10 year lease on a 9,000 sq ft unit, off an asking rent of £36,000 per annum.
Meanwhile, Bradford City Autos and Rinus Roofing Supplies are the new tenants at the former motor auction site on Midland Road. The latter was represented by GRM Property Consultants.
The firms have agreed individual long term leases on the entire 11,426 sq ft site, close to Valley Parade.
Elsewhere, the Bowling Industrial Estate is now fully let after Bradford College took a further two units, extending to 9,000 sq ft, for use as a construction school.
Eddisons negotiated a part surrender of a lease with an existing tenant as part of the letting process.
A deal has also been agreed on an industrial unit in Drighlington which extends to over 14,000 sq ft.
Cockersdale Works on Whitehall Road occupies a site of over an acre and has been let to a local company off an asking rent of £42,500 per annum.
John Padgett of Eddisons said: ‘We have completed these lettings during tough economic conditions and are delighted with the excellent rental income we have achieved for our clients.
‘It is encouraging to see new tenants, both local and national, keen to take space in the Bradford district and we continue working hard to facilitate further deals.’
