The Bradford office of Chartered Surveyors Eddisons has been instructed to drive forward the disposal of two former Bradford car showrooms on behalf of Pendragon Plc.

The premises on Manchester Road extend to nearly 17,000 sq ft and are available on either a freehold or leasehold basis. They were previously occupied by car retailer Stratstone.

Interest in the site has already been received from a number of parties and reflects the prominent location, according to John Padgett of Eddisons.

‘We have received enquiries from operators in a number of sectors including leisure, retail and automotive.

‘They are attracted by the excellent position, close to both Bradford city centre and the M606 motorway, which will help to extend the catchment area, as well as ample on-site car parking.’

Meanwhile, The Gatehouse on Manchester Road is also available to buy or lease.

The Grade II listed building is arranged over two floors, with a total floor area of 1,600 sq ft. It also has 11 dedicated parking spaces.

Mr Padgett said: ‘These are significant instructions on behalf of a prestigious client and we are confident of concluding successful deals in the near future.’
