Software company Tekla has agreed terms on over 20,000 sq ft of Grade A office space close to Leeds city centre, in what is believed to be the biggest out of town office letting in the area this year.
The firm which provides model-based software for construction, infrastructure and energy industries has signed a 10 year lease at Synergy 27 on Gelderd Road, close to junction 27 of the M62.
The Leeds office of Chartered Surveyors Eddisons sourced the accommodation and negotiated favourable terms on behalf of Tekla, a Trimble Company, who is relocating from its existing offices in Morley to facilitate further expansion.
Eddisons is also advising on the relocation and progressing all fit-out works and furniture procurement, through its building and project consultancy department.
Steven Jones, Associate Director at Eddisons says: ‘Due to our knowledge of the commercial marketplace our acquisition and tenant representation services are developing rapidly as demand for good quality stock in the Yorkshire region continues to out strip supply.
‘By also offering building and project consultancy we have all the necessary expertise under one roof to provide clients with a fully integrated solution.’
Joining Eddisons as an Associate Director in 2013, Steven brings to the table over ten years’ experience as a surveyor, particularly active within the Yorkshire commercial property market as a professional consultant in general practice, including five years plus PQE (Post Qualified Experience).
Steven now leads the Leeds agency team providing coverage in investment brokerage, industrial and logistics as well as office agency and development.
As a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), The Leeds Office Agents Forum (LOAF), The Industrial Agents Society (IAS), and as Joint Chairman of The Office Agents Society (OAS) for Yorkshire, Steven’s solid industry knowledge, expertise and networks make him a reliable reference point for clients ranging from high net worth individuals, occupiers, PLCs, regional property companies as well as banks and investors.
